Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) was established in 1975 by the Utah Legislature. Utah Housing Loans offer low-to-moderate income clients the opportunity to obtain mortgages that usually have lower rates that comparable loan programs with no down payment required from their own funds. Utah Housing Loans require all the buyer to borrow the 3.5% down payment normally required on Utah FHA mortgage and allow the seller of a property to pay all closing costs. Utah Housing Corp. is not a mortgage lender. Utah Housing Loans are made by participating lenders such as Veritas Funding, LLC and mortgage consultants like Jeff Winn.
